j_lunatic1. Most of you have probably heard that pioneering televangelist Oral Roberts has died.
2. In case you didn't hear, the DC Council voted to legalize same-sex marriage. (The mayor has sworn to sign the bill, but Congress has the right to kill DC legislation when they want.)
3. Am I the only person to think these two events might somehow be related? (Don't mind me; I've been terribly bored, stuck at home without work for the last two weeks.)
