A/N: Partly inspired by this (safe for work) video.
Trevor was confused. Not because Luna was blissfully cooing and moaning. Every morning Neville scratched Trevor behind the ears, just after getting out of his bed, and if Trevor had a larynx he’d probably make similar sounds.
Rather, Trevor was puzzled about where Neville was tickling Luna. Is that where humans have their ears? Still, Luna unquestionably liked what Neville was doing. Every afternoon she would meet Neville in Greenhouse Five; they would lock the door securely (never noticing their warty little observer); and in a vine-shrouded corner Neville would pet Luna until she made those happy little noises again.
